Its a Long way to Whitby from Norfolk

Christmas over and time to head my daughter back up to University in #Leeds, however, I decided this time I would make the trip a little more exciting by adding a trip to #Whitby tagged on to the end as I head home.

Well after looking through other photographs from peoples Instagram sites I decided it was was worth the trip, weather permitting. I was under no disalustion that this town had been shot a thousand times and most of what I would be taking would be already recorded. The aim was to capture and produce photos a little different from the norm. Visit to have a clear understanding of what was available, and to see if it was worth coming here for a weekend to capture #sunrise/sunset, high tide Low Tide etc. in the spring and summer.

Coming off the station you are straight in to the town, a fantastic working #harbour with plenty of things going on to take you eye, I feel this is a town you really need to turn up in a #camper van to allow you the time to watch the weather and tides, as each hour or day will give you a new opportunity.

As this was just a flying visit I only had time for a couple of shots, but this does not give the town justice, I didn't get to climb the #cliff tops to take the bigger picture, and due to the weather being a little dull I decided not to climb this lighthouse either. This were all on the list for my revisit, I will definitely be coming bak her in the spring, and for more than one day. There is a need for the sunrise shot for this beach.

So I head back to #York to pick up my connection to #Norwich heading home.

Hope you like the snap shot. Keep updated by following #jefftebbuttphotos.com Thank you.
